Today is Caregiver Appreciation Day! Our caregivers make it possible to do what we do here at HomeCourt Home Care! Caregivers play an essential role in providing care by helping the elderly, when they can't get around like they used to. They help with daily living tasks that are difficult for people to do on their own, like bathing, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders. They also help with general housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and companionship! They help make the lives of others easier and better so they can remain in the comfort of their own home instead of moving to a nursing home.
Caregiving is not always an easy job, but so many of our caregivers will tell you it is so fulfilling! They love their job because they know they are making a difference in someone's life! Here are a few comments our caregivers have shared with us:
