Side- Lemon Parmesan Broccoli
A fresh, flavorful side dish
1 (12-ounce) bag frozen broccoli florets
2 Tablespoons olive oil, divided
3-6 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 Tablespoon)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 Tablespoons grated or shredded parmesan cheese
¼-½ teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Place frozen broccoli in the pan and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.
Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30-60 seconds. Remove from heat.
Add the lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Toss to combine and serve warm.
